Why Choose Scottsdale Vacation Rentals From Paseo Homes?

The world as a whole has gotten away from staying in hotels on vacation, preferring the space, luxury, and comfort of staying in a vacation condo or home, but there was one area in which hotels, at least the nicer hotels, got it right, providing concierge services for their guests helped ensure that the vacation they were about to enjoy was filled with fun and excitement and in some cases, they could almost plan your entire vacation for you. Today, we are a lot more savvy, understanding how to use the internet, but it still helps when someone who lives in the area can guide you to their favorite spots, and guess what? Paseo Homes AZ offers that type of service as well. Offering a concierge is something not every vacation rental company does, but we do, and you can use our concierge for however you need and for an extra fee, you can reserve a private chef, request in house spa services, ask for special arrival services, arrange grocery services, and use our concierge for dinner reservations, private tours, and nightclub reservations.

Don’t Want to Pay Extra?

We get it, vacations can be expensive and even though our rentals are reasonably priced you may not be wanting to pay the extra bucks for a concierge, and you don’t have to. Everything you could possibly want to know about the area can be found in our banner as well. Learn where the closest golf courses are located, discover what fun attractions are in the area, and explore all the tours that can be enjoyed during your stay. You see, sharing our state with our guests is one of our favorite parts of this job and in the blogs we offer, we like to talk about our favorite restaurants, shops, and night spots as well. Also offering ideas for road trips, Scottsdale is centrally located in the state so no matter where you want to visit, you’re already halfway there. There really is no end to the hints, tips, and recommendations we offer in those blogs, and you don’t have to pay an extra penny to peruse them at your leisure, creating a well-rounded itinerary in the weeks before your vacation and ensuring that every moment will be fun and exciting!

Booking with Paseo Homes AZ Is as Easy as Shopping Online

As life gets more complicated it is always such a relief to find the easy stuff and booking with Paseo Homes AZ is about as easy as it comes. Find the property that you are interested in, choose your arrival dates, and answer a few simple questions, all easily seen in the red box marked Book Now to the right of the listing page. Sounds easy, right? Well it is easy, but there could be some bumps in the road, such as narrowing down your rental choices to just one beautiful retreat. Our properties are designed to be an integral part of your vacation experience and you may find yourself wishing you could stay in all of them at the same time. It will take up to 24 hours for your credit card to process, so there may be a small delay in the approval, but unless you are planning to visit on that same day, it shouldn’t be a problem. And finally, the worst part of the whole experience is that wait time from booking to arrival, especially as you probably booked your rental as soon as you found our page, many weeks before your vacation is scheduled to begin.

Our World Class Support Team

We work our hardest to ensure that your stay with us is as smooth as that Arizona cabernet you found during your last visit, but this is life, and we can’t always control it. But you’ve chosen, or at least you are considering choosing Paseo Homes AZ and our world class support team will be there to do everything we can to make it right. First of all, under the services tab on the banner, you will notice a dropdown entitled Travel Insurance, something that can make a huge financial difference should something go wrong and you are forced to make a last minute cancellation. As we just mentioned, life tends to happen when you make other plans and purchasing travel insurance can save your vacation, even if you still have to take it at a later date.

More Ways You Have Our Support

But what if something happens inside your Scottsdale rental during your stay? Maybe the electricity went out during a big storm or maybe you just can’t get the wifi code we provided to work. It doesn’t matter if your problem is big or small, we are here to help and you can call us and talk to a live human or email us if you feel more comfortable doing so. Our phone number and email address are listed under the Contact Us dropdown menu, but we have also included them here for easy access. 602-550-2058 is our number, and you can email us at vacation@paseohomes.com. See how easy that was?

Let’s Talk Accommodations

How have we gone this long without discussing the vacation rentals that are designed to be an integral part of your vacation experience? All of what we have talked about so far is wonderful, but if you don’t find a home to love, means absolutely nothing, but that’s ok, we still have plenty of time to share all that is wonderful about our Paseo Homes AZ Scottsdale sanctuaries. Offering your choice of modern and luxurious condominiums located in the best communities in the area and stand alone homes that are equally modern and luxurious and located close to everything that makes Scottsdale unique, your choices are plentiful and hopefully we can make your final decision a little easier with what we are about to talk about!

The Condos You Will Love

Our condos are spacious yet cozy and may offer either 1 or 2 bedrooms, making them the perfect size for solo travelers, honeymooners, or smaller families. Offering all the luxury and comfort you have come to expect from Paseo Homes AZ, the best part is the realization that you won’t have to make any sacrifices just because you have chosen a smaller structure. Inside amenities will include fully equipped kitchens, comfortable living rooms furnished with high-end sofas and chairs, as well as providing state of the art televisions. Some may be pet friendly, ensuring that your most precious fur child does not have to stay behind, others may offer stunning views of the mountains that surround our town, and still others may provide spa-like baths equipped with updated fixtures, deep tubs, and/or steam showers. We love that our roomier escapes sometimes manage to provide some sort of game table, but if the one you fall for does not, you can probably count on it providing books, board games and movies for extra entertainment purposes.

Community Amenities

The communities our condos are located in may offer a few extra amenities themselves, including an all important one in the desert, and that would be a resort style pool. Summer days are scorchers and ending each day with a dip in cool waters is always a good idea, but what if you are visiting in the winter months, does that mean you can’t swim? Absolutely not, because most resort pools are heated to extend swim season late into the year and everyone knows that our coldest months often still feel like a tropical vacation to our visitors who fly in from colder climates! Also providing community hot tubs that will soothe muscles that may ache from the hikes through the Sonoran desert, private garages, even EV chargers in some cases, the community amenities in our condos will add an extra element of wow to your vacation adventures.

Scottsdale Vacation Rentals From Paseo Homes

Home Sweet Vacation Home

Whether you have a large group of family or friends or you just enjoy the privacy and spaciousness of a standalone home, ours will offer a retreat you won’t soon forget. Providing as many as 6 bedrooms and offering the space for as many as 17 guests to live happily together, these spacious escapes are loaded with luxury extras. Filled with light, this is the Valley of the Sun, after all, and that sun shines down on our towns over 330 days every year. Your most comfortable vacation begins with the push of a few buttons as you enter in the key code that provides you access to paradise for the next week or so of your life. We believe in spoiling our guests and the furnishings will be plush, the materials used will be high end, and the amenities will keep you comfortable, happy, and entertained. Fireplaces in the living rooms will be much appreciated on chilly nights and many will be gas ones, enabling you to enjoy the magic of a roaring fire without all the fuss of having to build one.

More to Explore

Our kitchens are the heart of the home, often equipped with the gourmet appliances you may have always dreamed of having for your own home, offering well known names such as Viking, SubZero, and Wolf, amongst others. The dining rooms, located just steps away from those kitchens, will offer sturdy tables, excellent lighting, and enough chairs for everyone in your traveling party to enjoy a place at the table. The sanctuary you fall in love with may offer game tables (pool, ping pong, or shuffleboard) or fully equipped game rooms, depending on what’s available at the time you need it. Fitness rooms, laundry rooms, spa-like bathrooms, even extra living areas can also be a part of your experience, and each space will make you feel welcomed and at home.

Outdoor Amenities

You could choose a home with an ordinary backyard, or an oasis could be waiting for you when you step out back for the first time. With Paseo Homes AZ, more often than not it is the oasis you will get. Featuring private pools, hot tubs, putting greens, hammocks, rooftop decks furnished with comfortable lounging chairs, even firepits, outdoor fireplaces, and cornhole games may be found in your beautiful backyard, ensuring that never a dull moment will be had. Barbecue grills and patio tables will offer idyllic spots for a family barbecue and cushioned chairs, rockers, or outdoor sectionals will be where you and your family sit each evening savoring the fiery beauty of an Arizona sunset. Not every amenity will be in every home and we are probably forgetting more that exist, but we think you get the message. Our Scottsdale standalone sanctuaries are sure to add that extra something wonderful to your Arizona vacation experience!

We would say that summer is coming, but in Scottsdale, summer is probably already here when you are reading this, and we at Paseo Homes AZ wouldn’t have it any other way. An Arizona summer may take a little getting used to—yes, the temperatures will be high and that sun will be bright, but remembering that in the winter months our families back home are salting their sidewalks to keep from slipping and we are salting the rims of our margarita glasses makes it all worthwhile.

5 Scottsdale Summer Vacation Rental Amenities

For those planning a Scottsdale vacation and a stay in our Paseo Homes AZ seasonal sanctuaries, however, we are sure that you will be thrilled to find these five Scottsdale summer vacation rental amenities you won’t want to live without, making life cooler for your summer getaway to the “West’s Most Western Town!”

Coming in at Number 1: Air Conditioning

There is no particular order that we are placing these amenities in, just in case you were wondering, but we can pretty much guarantee that every guest who visits would put air conditioning at the top of the list of amenities they couldn’t live without. With temperatures in the triple digits, walking into a home that is quiet and cool makes all the difference in the world, and if you don’t get goosebumps at first, kick the AC down a couple of degrees and revel in the cool air wafting from the vents. Afternoon naps are that much more agreeable when the hum of an air conditioner provides a little white noise while also keeping the room cool and experts say that the ideal temperature for sleeping at night ranges between 68 and 72 degrees. Now, in our minds those temperatures are a little too cold, in contrast to the 100+ degree temperatures outside, but you do you and stay comfortable as you dream happy dreams while sleeping in the most comfortable beds in the state.

Staying Cool Is Our Business

A vacation is Scottsdale may be a frightening proposition, especially when you read about the record breaking temperatures we have some summers, but we live here year-round and we know all the ways of staying cool no matter how far the mercury has risen. As such, throughout these pages we will toss in some life hacks, we will call them pro summer hacks, giving you the opportunity to keep even cooler as you experience all that Scottsdale and its surrounding cities have to offer! And now it is time for our first hack, and although it may sound simple, we promise when you try it, it will make all the difference in your sleep comfort. So, our first pro summer hack is this: The comforter on the bed is certainly beautiful, but you may find that sleeping with just a sheet covering your body is all that you need!

5 Scottsdale Summer Vacation Rental Amenities

Our Number 2 Choice: It’s Surprising How Much of a Difference a Ceiling Fan Can Make

Ceiling fans are the bane of interior decorators existence but in the desert they are practically a necessity. Remember the afternoon naps we were just talking about in the above paragraph? Air conditioning is cool, so to speak, but the way the ceiling fan moves the air around makes it even cooler and naps are that much deeper and refreshing when you have one. Imagine enjoying an early start to your day, perhaps visiting the Phoenix Zoo before the temperatures get too hot then heading over to The Mission in Old Town Scottsdale for lunch. Their tacos are amazing and their margaritas (try the Prickly Pear Margarita!) are cool, refreshing, and because of the alcohol, will make you realize how good a nap would feel right about now. So you head home to your Scottsdale sanctuary, sink into the soft cushions of the sofa in the living room, kick off your shoes and let the soft whirring of the ceiling fan above you lull you into a decadently refreshing nap, feeling your core temperature drop and your muscles begin to loosen.

The Best Night’s Sleep of Your Life

Before we leave the topic of ceiling fans, just know that the living rooms aren’t the only rooms in the house that will offer this wonderful amenity. Bedrooms will have their own ceiling fans, and we think that somehow, sleep is deeper when the ceiling fan is turned on and our dreams seem happier. Maybe it is because we are in such a relaxed state and the room has been cooled to our optimum sleep temperature, but we also think it is in the soothing nature of a ceiling fan, and as you lay in bed, the sheet pulled over your body and all the lights out, (except maybe you can see the lights from our number three amenity glowing behind the blinds) it won’t take more than a few minutes for your eyes to drift shut and your ride to the city of dreams will begin. Sleep is often a luxury we can’t seem to achieve in adulthood, but we consider it a bonus amenity in our Paseo Homes AZ Scottsdale summer sanctuaries!

Number 3 Will Be the Coolest Part of Your Summer Vacation: A Crystal-Clear Swimming Pool

For this next amenity, practically any season makes it a much loved amenity, and although not all of our properties will offer private pools, many will include community pools in the list of amenities offered.

Community Pools

If you are renting a Paseo Homes AZ condo, you already know that there won’t be a private pool in the backyard, but the community pool will be the next best thing. In some condo communities there may even be multiple pools from which to choose, each surrounded by a selection of lounge chairs and some even offering umbrellas to help shade you from the sun’s rays. Every pool is a heated pool in the summer months, so it really won’t matter at the moment that most community pools are heated in the winter months, but if you are planning a return during the cooler season, you’ll want to keep that fact in mind. During the hottest months, July, August, and September, your favorite time to swim will be in the mornings (serving as a preemptive cool down!) and in the evenings (that first moment after submerging yourself in the cool blue waters will be ecstasy!) Hanging out by the pool with a cool drink in hand is one of our favorite ways to beat the heat and after a summer getaway in Scottsdale, we think it will be yours as well!

Private Pools

This time we will start with the pro summer hack, informing you, our treasured guests, that nothing lowers your core body temperature better than a nighttime swim. Community pools often close at dusk, unfortunately, so this tip really is mostly for the renters of our private homes, but it is a really good one. Summers will be hot, scorchingly so, we are a desert town after all, and there will be days when you may come home from another fantastic adventure but feeling so hot you may wonder if you will ever be able to cool down. Take a cool shower, sit under the ceiling fan, and after the sun has set and the moon is high, head outside for a nighttime swim. We can almost promise that within a few minutes, your core temperature will be lowered and you may even find your teeth begin to chatter, especially when you go back inside with the air conditioner running. In any case, you will be so cool that sleep will come quickly and easily, making you forget how sweaty and hot you were earlier.

For Our Number 4 Amenity, We Bring You Covered Patios and/or Gazebos

Whether you are having a family pool party, have decided that grilling the steaks you bought at the Scottsdale Meat Market (14987 N Northsight Boulevard #110) was a great idea, or are simply wanting to see for yourself how stunning an Arizona sunset looks, having a shaded place to do so can be the best idea of all. If your rental is a private home with a private pool, you already know that your kiddos will not want to get out of the water, even as you are feeling waterlogged, and you also know you aren’t going to leave them alone while they frolic. Having a covered patio, many even offer outdoor ceiling fans, can be the best way to stay cool and dry, and our patios will be furnished with comfy chairs so you will have a place to rest. Gazebos are another popular addition to the yards of our homes, often offering ceiling fans, mini fridges, and even a television tucked away under the eaves, and we can tell you that the Kobe beef you are grilling will just taste better when watching the Diamondbacks play your team under a whirring ceiling fan on a hot summer’s eve. And there is yet another way to stay cool while outside on the covered patio or in the gazebo, but we are saving that for the next paragraph; keep reading if you’re curious!

5 Scottsdale Summer Vacation Rental Amenities

Number 5 Shouldn’t Be Mist!

No, we didn’t misspell the word missed, we just made a little pun, because misters that are tucked away on the edges of patio and gazebo roofs are the final amenity on our list. The resulting spray almost looks like steam and lowers the temperatures as much as 30 degrees. Evaporation fights the heat, and as you sit on the patio with a glass of Arizona wine in hand (Carlson Creek Vineyard has a tasting room in Scottsdale, located at 4142 N Marshall Way if you have a hankering to see what the fuss is all about), watching the sky turned to fire, you will probably find yourself thinking that life doesn’t get much better than this.

Making Memories and Our Fifth and Final Pro Summer Hack

These quiet moments will become the memories you take out and examine when real life gets a little noisy and stressful, and yes, you will also remember just how wonderful the misting system was. The newer models don’t even dampen your glasses, and for all our glasses wearers, we know you will be thankful for that, but now it is time for another pro summer hack. Our fifth and final summer hack is if there is a little extra moisture spotting your glasses, you can sit back a little closer to the house, still feel the temperature difference, and your glasses will remain spot free! And because the misters work just about everywhere in the world, you may even want to consider purchasing a set for your own backyard, discovering that staying cooler is possible even during the height of summer.

Cool Adventures During Your Summer Vacation

Now that we have shown you ways to stay cool at home with Paseo Homes AZ, let’s take the adventures to the streets of Scottsdale. (Not literally, it is hotter in the streets than we care to think about!)

Maya Day & Nightclub, 7333 E Indian Plaza in Scottsdale

The Maya Day & Nightclub offers the hottest way to stay cool, featuring daytime pool parties, bottle service, and nighttime DJs. Seriously, this fun party spot will keep you cool as you party the day and night away, with different themed events adding an extra sparkle to your adventures.

OdySea Aquarium, 9500 E Via De Ventura Suite A-100 in Scottsdale

The simplest way to stay cool during a Scottsdale summer vacation is to go where the air conditioning is, and OdySea Aquarium is air conditioned for your comfort. Offering more than 2,000,000 gallons of water, and a trip through countries that are much less arid than our desert home, the aquarium is one of our summer faves and will be yours too.

Old Town Scottsdale is another great spot to explore, with its collection of boutique shops, art galleries, and charming local restaurants.

For a more hands-on experience, try one of Scottsdale’s indoor entertainment venues. Test your skills at an escape room, catch a show at a local theater, or enjoy a rejuvenating spa day at one of the area’s top-rated resorts. Golf enthusiasts can also take advantage of Scottsdale’s many indoor golf simulators, where they can practice their swing without braving the midday sun.

Enjoy Scottsdale’s Unforgettable Dining Scene

First-Time Visitor Guide to Scottsdale

Winter in Scottsdale, on the other hand, is much milder, with daytime temperatures averaging in the mid-60s to low 70s°F (18-22°C), offering a perfect escape for those looking to avoid colder climates. While winters are typically mild, evenings can still get chilly, dropping to the 40s and 50s°F (4-15°C), so it’s a good idea to bring a light jacket. Spring and fall are also considered the best times to visit, as temperatures are comfortable and ideal for enjoying the outdoors without the extreme heat of summer. Packing for Your Scottsdale Trip

When preparing for your trip to Scottsdale, packing the right clothing and gear is essential to ensure you’re comfortable and ready to enjoy all that this vibrant city has to offer. Due to the desert climate, lightweight, breathable clothing is a must. Think cotton, linen, and moisture-wicking fabrics to keep cool during the day, especially in the warmer months. Don’t forget to pack a good pair of comfortable shoes for outdoor activities like hiking or strolling around town. If you’re planning to explore Scottsdale’s upscale resorts or dine at some of the finer restaurants, be sure to bring a few dressier outfits as well. The evenings can be cooler, so having a light jacket or sweater is always a good idea.

In addition to clothing, you’ll want to pack essential items for sun protection. A high SPF sunscreen is a must, as the Arizona sun can be intense, even during the cooler months. Sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat will help shield you from the sun’s rays, while a reusable water bottle will keep you hydrated as you explore. If you’re staying in one of Scottsdale’s luxurious vacation homes, you may want to bring a swimsuit for enjoying the pools or hot tubs, as many properties offer private outdoor spaces. Finally, don’t forget your camera or smartphone to capture the beautiful desert landscapes and stunning sunsets Scottsdale is known for. For every 12 year old girl who dreamed of owning their own horse, for every 10 year old boy who just knew they would be a cowboy riding horses through the desert when he grew up, February is the ideal time to plan a visit to the West’s Most Western Town. February 15 through February 25 the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show gallops into town, an event attended by over 300,000 people every year, bringing the beauty and talent of Arabian horses to the forefront of our attention. Offering magic, elegance, and an exciting opportunity to explore the world of dressage and a glimpse into the history of this ancient breed (there is evidence this breed is over 3500 years old) your time spent at the show will be your favorite part of your Arizona adventures, especially when you come home to our Paseo Homes Scottsdale sanctuaries every night.

WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N Pima Road

In 1955 the first Arabian Horse Show was held at the Biltmore, showcasing the stunning beauty of the breed, with only 50 animals competing in the event. Today the show is held at WestWorld of Scottsdale with nearly 2400 Arabians competing, making it the largest Arabian horse show in the entire world and has even been called the Superbowl of the Arabian world. And although there are many other big draw events that take place at the same time, including spring training for major league baseball, the joy of an event that brings owners, trainers, breeders, and, of course, these graceful animals together adds an element of charm and wonder to your vacation experience.

The Arabian Difference

In the west our horses tend to be more industrial, both in stature and style, used to cattle drives and night time rides through the desert, but Arabian horses are an entirely different breed. Characterized by its finely chiseled head, it is its intelligence, its grace, and the air of nobility that has made the Arabian Horse most sought after, with the best Arabians possibly capturing a price that can be as much as 30,000 dollars. Many of the winner’s of this year’s show will go on to take the big money as will their offspring.

The Arabian Horse Show Difference

If you have never witnessed an Arabian horse show before you may not understand what the schedule shows, offering events titled English and Western Dressage,  Arabian Country Pleasure, and Hunter Pleasure Walk/Trot, events that are far different from Rodeo Events that include Barrel Racing, Tie Down Roping, and Bull Riding. But even as the crowds are more genteel, the events are less rugged, and the riders are dressed so very differently from those at a rodeo, the underlying vibe, one of horses and the people who love them will be very much the same. Sometimes more of a beauty pageant for horses and at other times a talent show where impeccably dressed riders guide their steeds around obstacle courses, the one common thing you may see at both a rodeo and this horse show, is riders wearing typical Western style cowboy hats, even as many riders will be dressed in English equestrian garb.

So Much to See

Perhaps the most colorful event will be the Mounted Native Costume event where riders show off their capes, coats, scarfs, and headdresses with the best costume winning the competition. and the most exciting may be the Scottsdale Signature Stallion Auction, where rowdiness similar to that of the 16th hole at the Waste Management Open contrasts with white tablecloths and fancy clothing and the auctioning off of stud services. Featuring a marketplace of arts, crafts, riding gear, and goodies that make riding more fun and a celebration of National Arabian Horse Day on February 19th. Leashed dogs are permitted, so if you have traveled across the miles with your fur child in tow, bring it along, or if not, just revel in the opportunity to enjoy horse and puppy pets whenever permitted. Visitors can meet an Arabian, having their pictures taken as they sit astride the mighty beasts, providing them with a souvenir they will never forget and if you are truly interested in learning all you can about the horse show, free barn tours give visitors a peek behind the scenes of this most prestigious show.
